Wow... what a midterm!
Alright so midterms happen recently and truth be told I was kind of a bit pessimistic. Don't get me wrong I wanted good things to come from it, but honestly these last 2 years left me feeling a bit drained if that makes sense.
I thought nothing will happen best case scenario.
Ladies and Gentlemen.

Alright lets start more smaller with quite simply dems control the house and senate!
Which is pretty good while dems ain't perfect coming from a black man with immigrant and queer friends. Yea they're absolutely better than the alternative and it's not even close.
They hold it by a pretty good margin too 237 to 139 for house, and 54 to 44 for senate.
Some results also surprise me that this blog post here listed.
Some not listed there even shock me. For example Alabama state house elected a trans lawmaker1
But there is one state that when I saw absolutely shocked me. A state I think nobody would of ever expected.
Texas went blue
Despite me not being a Texan I can't lie this is so funny to me and insane.
This is the most insane fumble I ever seen how did you manage to make the historical red state blue? A fumble for the history books.
To all the Texans reading this coming from a Marylander I'm proud as hell of yall niggas! Let out y'all loudest yee-haw y'all deserve it!
Not going to lie, after this I feel incredibly hopeful now. Been making me smile all day.
Anyway yea I didn't plan to make a more political blog post today, but I kind of felt I needed to do so. Your regularly schedule art/animation related blog post will resume.
